Hello iCompacters!
If all goes well, we should be ready to launch the upgraded iCompact within the next week or so. There are a few updates to report, but this is a special note regarding the iCompact forums.
The updated forum will use popular vBulletin system, and there are a couple changes that need special attention:
Check your email address - You will need to reset your password, so please make sure your email address is up to date!
Screen name will be login name - The old groupee iCompact forum had one login name, and one screen name. After the upgrade you will log in with your screen name only.
Private Messages - Private messages may not be imported. If necessary, take a moment to back up any important data.
Avatars - You will probably need to update your avatar after the upgrade.
That's about it. We've tried to make the new forums feel like the old ones, and hopefully you'll like the changes!
