I never ever use color on my nails but for some reason I wanted them black. I bought OPI Lincoln Park after Dark which is a super dark burgundy color. It wasn't dark enough so I found my old Wet'nWild Black Creme. I painted it over top the OPI. It's a very rich black color and you can kinda see the burgundy underneath. It's really pretty. Now I have to do the other hand...:)

I really like Rimmel's lasting finish in Black Satin.
It's the blackest I've EVER found and doesn't chip off.

Black nail polish is so lovely...
I can't paint mine anymore though because of my other job.

I have that same OPI shade, and I have a black one from them as well. I love both, and I really enojy the dark nail look for fall and winter!

I am going to try that out this year, but I am so bad at painting my nails (I so rarely paint my nails anyhow, and if I do it's always something pale and sheer) that I just know that bottle of Essie "Wicked" I just bought is going to be a disaster, lol.

Wow! You nails and application looks fantastic. My new favorite shade for the fall is OPI's Russian Navy....its a step down from black and some very nice subtle shimmer.

Wow you did a really good job! I don't like painting my own nails, it's just never as good as when other people do it for me. I love dark nails for the fall/winter too. I went thru a black nail phase last year and got so many different kind of black nail polishes. They are great on short nails.

I absolutely love black nail polish! I used to use the Wet N' Wild kind back in high school, but I've noticed several other brands for sale recently(must be because of Halloween). :)

It looks great Rach. I don't wear black nail polish, only for Halloween. However, I do love wearing dark red for the fall/winter seasons.

No it won't be! Just take your time, use a good basecoat (Orly Bonder) and a fast-drying topcoat like Poshe or Seche Vite. It will be beautiful!
