Does anybody have any recommendations for any good base coats or top coats. I do my own nails and they will look good for a day or two but it doesn't matter what kind of nail polish I use, they always start chipping after a day or two. I usually use a coat of base coat, 2 regular nail polish coats and then a coat of top coat. I like having my nails painted but I hate how many times I have to repeat doing them because of the time it takes to dry them. Does any body know of any good lasting nail polishes? Please help.

Well, I used to like Sallys but they turn my nails so yellow! I actually love Milanis nail polish.

Orly Bonder is an awesome base coat and Won't Chip is great for top coat. With these two, most of my nail polish lasts long.

I like Orly Bonder too, for a base coat. I've used Sally Hansen base coats as well, and they also work well.

I use Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails as a base coat. It's a nail strengthener, but it works great as a base coat. I use Seche Vite's Dry Fast Top Coat, which does a great job of keeping your nails from chipping. HTH. :)

I use Creative Sticky Base Coat and love it, though I have heard lots of good stuff about Orly's too. Seche Vite Fast Dry is my definite fave for a top coat--it makes my nails salon-manicure-shiny and keeps them from chipping.

This is what I use, and I haven't found anything I like better. Makes my polish last just about a week.
