I got it done 2 weeks ago.... the girl who did it did an AWFUL job on it and it was totally black! So another hair stylist saw my hair and was like girl your hair looks awful(shes a friend of mine so i know she wasnt being mean, just trying to help me out). So she fixed me up and i LOVE IT NOW!

I honestly like both. I just think that if you're not used to it or it wasn't what you were expecting... you thought the dark hair was too much. The new ones great too.

Nooooo! Don't tan! I love the effect darker hair gives to skin. Remember, it's PORCELAIN skin as long as your makeup is done well. Goth happens when your makeup colors are too harsh & washes out or clashes with the natural warmth and luster.

Also for the tanning, your statement reminds me of something I tell myself when I get the urge to get a tan...Society has taught us that tans look youthful & healthy. The truth is, tans make us look older than we are, AND to much of the world, porcelain skin is beautiful & exotic. I'd rather be beautiful & exotic than tan just like everyone else.

I wouldnt tan if my natural skin wasnt so gross. I look dead(literally) when i'm my natural color.. and that's just not pretty on me.

I like it both ways, Nat! I am the same way and usually switch it up from light to dark and vice versa every so often with highlights and lowlights. I just went very light with a lot of blonde highlights after having it dark with a lot of brown lowlights for the past three months. It's nice to switch it up every so often!

My stylist just dyed my hair darker, and I love it! It was supposed to be my natural color but I'm thinking that it's just a bit deep at first and will fade (at least, I hope so...the whole point was I didn't want roots anymore!). I do have to say that I love the darker change for fall. :)
