I said in the Hair forum that I got my hair done and wanted to share the Pureology products that I got while at the salon last night. My salon was having a 30% off sale, which was great because these products are expensive (a liter of the shampoo or conditioner is $50!). However, they work awesome for my hair so I don't mind paying for something that works wonderfully every time I use it. I repurchased the SuperStraight Relaxing Hair Serum. This stuff is amazing! It makes my hair so smooth when I blowdry it and prepares it well for flat-ironing. It has a nice herbally scent too. I decided to try the shampoo and conditioner that go along with it, so I got 1-liter bottles of the SuperStraight Shampoo & Conditioner. I can't wait to try them out. I also got a bottle of the ShineMax Shine Smoother. This is a finishing serum for after I flat-iron my hair to smooth flyaways and add shine. I can't wait to try this as well.
I also went to The Body Shop because I had to repurchase their eye makeup remover. They had some products left from their after-Christmas sale still on clearance, but this time it was an additional 20% off the red tag clearance price PLUS the 10% off the total with my Love Your Body card. I'm on CT, but I was a bad girl and picked up some things, but only because they were so cheap. I only spent $36 in total though. I got two more bottles of the Camomile & White Tea Shower Cream. I love shower creams as opposed to shower gels, so when I find a good one I like to stock up. Now I have four bottles of this. I also got a Natural Oceanic Clay Mask. I read in an article that oily-skinned gals should add an oil-absorbing mask to their skincare routine 1-2 times a week. I tried this last night. First of all, it's fun because it's a dark green color. Second, it really mattified my skin! When I woke up this morning, I wasn't nearly as greasy as I usually am. I'm going to keep up with this, and when I run out I know that they make a Tea Tree oil-absorbing mask as part of their regular line that I can get. I also found another perfume on clearance (I know, I know). But it was only $4.00 before the discounts, so I got it for $3! It's their White Musk EDT. It was just the older packaging because the bottle is white and the new one is purple. I really like it, and I'm usually not one for musky scents but it's really pretty. At least I didn't spend a lot and hubby didn't get mad at me. Like I said, I only bought them because they were so cheap. I love rummaging through clearance bins!
I just wanted to add that TBS has their own version of the Japanese Cherry Blossom fragrance coming out. They are making an EDT and body butter. I got a sample of the body butter to try, and I sprayed some of the EDT on myself in the store. It's a lot lighter than the B&BW version. I already have the B&BW JCP though, and I actually like it better.
