I absolutely love this stuff. But I hate having to order especially when it is the only thing I want to get from their site. I have tried MAC's cleansing oil and didn't like as much, and of course I have tried just using olive oil. Is there any other product as wonderful as this that I can go and just buy without having to order?

Look at what the major ingredient is in it. For a cleansing oil I used to use, it was sesame oil. I noticed that was also the main ingredient in Neutrogena's body oil so I started using that to take off Revlon Colorstay foundation (seriously!).

Lately I'm using half olive oil/half Cetaphil in the Cetaphil bottle. It's working fantastic, is not breaking out my horribly acne-prone skin, and I'm going to try half olive oil in some other cleaners I have to use them up.

I posted a link to a massive skin care thread about natural stuff like this, but I didn't realize at the time you had to be registered on the site to see it. But if you don't mind registering at www.bpal.org (http://www.bpal.org), I'll give you the link.

www.gardenofwisdom.com has an oil cleansing oil that might be similar to the DHC and cheaper. I dont think there is anything in drugstores that is similar. I know Shu Uemera has one too and his stuff is pricey.
Maybe Sephora's does too as I noticed they started to carry a lot of Japanese brands. The Japanese are mad about oil cleansers.

NB. I just noticed that Origins now has a cleansing oil.

Lumene has a cleansing oil; I don't find it as wonderful as DHC, but it's like 1/3 the cost of DHC and you can find it at CVS (if they carry a larger range of Lumene skincare). It does a fairly decent job too.

ive been using dhc for over 5 years now. but lately, ive been really lazy with ordering it and making sure i have a backup. so ive been using mac cleansing oil and naive peach cleansing oil (usually sold in asian super markets). i tried the lumene one but it didnt take off my makeup as well as dhc or mac. may i ask why u didnt like mac? im hoping there is an asian market where u are. the naive stuff is great.

There's also the oil cleansing method where you make your own. Reviews will be under 'Unlisted Brands' at MUA.

I went to a Japanese grocery store and noticed they carry Kose skincare and some Shiseido cleansing oil. They are $13.99! I dont know how much the DHC one is but that is a pretty good price.

Thanks for mentioning this. I'll check this out at MUA soon. I am happy with my current cleansing oil, Laventine's Olive Forte, but I am curious about how to make your own cleansing oil.
