I'm mostly interested in the Cremewash, Moisturelush Cream, and Microfine Refinisher.

Has anyone tried these? Any rants/raves?

Thanks! :)

Listen, I think that MAC is a great company. But I don't know if I would buy skin care from a company that specializes in makeup. I suggest looking for a product line from a reputable company thats speciality is skin care.

ive tried various skincare items from mac. i havent tried the creme wash or the moisturelush cream. their scrub used to be a hg for me until i stumbled upon philosophy microdelivery peel. the mac scrub has fine granules much like the ones in loreal refinish scrub but not as harsh. it's a great pick me up.

overall, their cleansers a tad drying with the exception of their cleansing oil which replaced my former hg, dhc cleansing oil. moisturizers are ok. used to adore their day light spf 15 lotion & moisture feed/skin till both were discontinued & reformulated.

i do like their new lightful essence. awesome as a primer. quite gentle. their charged waters spray is also great for setting mineral makeup.

I may give that Cleansing Oil a try - Neepoh do you use it JUST to remove m/u or as your cleanser in general? I want to try that Lightful Essence. I used to use some of their stuff (Fast REsponse Eye Cream was amazing!), but havent since it was reformulated.

im crazy anal abt makeup removal cuz my pores clog easily, even my eyelid pores. =l. i use one ponds wipe first and then 2 pumps of cleansing oil. i finish with a light gel cleanser, nothing stripping. im pretty sure that the ponds wipe isnt necessary, the cleansing oil itself is pretty darn awesome but it's peace of mind for me. hehe. the cleansing step afterwards is also optional depending on ur skintype.

i didnt particularly like the essence at night cuz i didnt see or feel a difference. i did find that it's the perfect amount of moisture to put under sunscreen & makeup. does not add extra grease or disturb the other products. i was rotating lorac oil free primer & loreal collagen filler. while i still like loreal collagen filler, the lightful essence imparts a smoother look than lorac oil free.

mac has some highlights in their skincare but i hate how they reformulate & discontinue things. more than anything, i hope they dont do anything to their cleansing oil.

Katie, I use the cleanse off oil too. For me, I use it as my only cleanser when I'm wearing makeup. My skin is normal to slightly dry so I'm not sure if someone with more oil might need a separate cleanser too. It usually takes all my makeup off easily (Though to be honest Istill prefer Clinique's take the day off balm) but I do sometimes need to use an eye makeup remover for really stubborn mascara/liner (for that I use Lancome Bifacil) that's one reason I like the balm a bit better since it's easier to rub into my eyes (I don't use a separate cleanser for that either) in the morning I just use a regular gentle cleanser or sometimes just water (my skin does best when I don't use too many skincare products on it)
