Hello everyone. Once again, I'm waaaay too confused to figure out this by myself.
I started to work out a couple of weeks ago, and I'm really enjoying it.
The thing is, I'm trying to make a week plan to follow from now on, since school's coming up and my schedule will be full of activities then.
I've been taking 2 ballet classes every week since 3 years ago, but I want to get strong for myself and for my carreer. I'm an actress and I need to be full of energy on stage. Also, you kind of feel weird going to an audition and finding out everyone is about 4 sizes smaller than you are:D
I want to go to the gym everyday and do some cardio and some strenght. This is the plan I came up to:

Monday-Wednesday-Friday: 40 minutes of cardio (treadmill/stationary bike) + 20 minutes of upper body moves (for arms, back and chest)

Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday: 1 hour Pilates class (REALLY intense, works core AND legs) + 20 minutes cardio

I know there has to be something wrong here. One of the personal trainers who works at the gym designed a routine for me (one you do 3 times per week). I like it overall, but all the lower body moves were done with machines. I much rather go to Pilates for the legs. Also, I prefer to split the workout in half and do upper body 3 days and lower body the other 3 days rather than stay at the gym for 2 hours 3 days per week.

As you can tell, I'm undecided and I'm not really informed so I wanted you guys to sort of advise me ;)

I think I would do just Pilates on Tues/Thur/Sat and skip the cardio. If you do too much cardio you'll just get burned out.

Thanks! That was actually one of my concerns, since as I said the Pilates class is pretty intense and definitely gets my heart rate up.

I also do pilates a lot, and I don't like to do cardio on the same day because it is intense enough on its own. The pilates that I do is actually a combo of cardio/floor exercises.
