I don't see this brand mentioned often here, but I thought to post my haul in case anyone is looking to try a new brand. I've been using some Julie Hewett products for about a year. I've used her Cheekies (Rosie) and lipsticks (Nude Noir and Thandie) and love them. The products are a little pricey, but it's a fun brand if you want to splurge. Julie Hewett is known for her line of Noir lipsticks, which are various shades of red. You can see online swatches at www.juliehewett.net (http://www.juliehewett.net) . Anyway, onto my haul...
I bought two palettes recently - Ombre and Petit Four. Petit Four contains four powder eyeshadows (one can also be used as blush), and Ombre includes a Cheekie, two powder eyeshadows, and one cream eyeshadow. The cream eyeshadow is a gorgeous taupe.
I really like them so far. The eyeshadows are smooth and pigmented and show up and last well on my eyes (over an e/s base). The Cheekie is also really nice. The Cheekies are a lip and cheek cream that is sort of balm-like in texture, but they spread smoothly and evenly over the skin. They give a dewy finish that looks fresh and pretty without looking greasy. I don't know how well they would work on very oily skin or in very humid weather, but for my combo skin they last pretty well (though not literally all day).
I found a pic at MUA of the two palettes from Olivia142 (the Tulle palette is also in the pic). The colors are little washed out in the pics, but they're still a good representation. Check the other JH pics in her account too, because she has pics of nearly all the lipsticks, Cheekies, and other products in the line.
