I just got back from a cruise I took with my boyfriend and friends, and it was the best vacation ever! The food was amazing (I ate 4 times a day LOL because room service is free so I ordered at night). Everyone ordered steak at night because we don't get it very often in a UConn dining hall haha. We sailed out of Miami to Nassau Bahamas, Cococay (Royal Caribbean private island), Key West, and back to Miami.

In Nassau we went to a private resort for the day because there was a great pool, beach, and open bar. The boys loved the bar LOL, especially the swim-up one! I introduced everyone to a Miami Vice (strawberry daiquiri/pina colada combined) and that's all we ordered for the most part. We took a taxi to Atlantis that night, and the only one available was a white stretch limo! We felt like VIPs. :p

Cococay was definitely the prettiest island I've ever been to, we found a really neat nook to relax on and there was a great breeze. My boyfriend decided to take my friend's mask and snorkel, but he got scared when a massive stingray (maybe 3 feet wide) swam past him lol.

Key West was super-fun, the girls shopped while the boys went to a sports bar to watch the UConn men play. My friend and I got really cute straw hats. At dinner (our last), my very wealthy friend Eddie ordered Dom Perignon! :eek: It cost $190! He got full glasses and we all got to try one half-glass. It was good and all, but I probably wouldn't know it from a $25 bottle lol (I don't have very expensive tastes).

I tried penny slots in the casino (18+ can gamble in international waters) but didn't win anything. My friends tried blackjack, and most won between $60-100. They were smart and knew when to stop!

It went by way too fast because we did so many activities, but I have some great memories! Here's the link to the photo album:

Chevone-We went on Royal Caribbean and LOVED it, I'd recommend that line. For a 4-night, 5-day cruise it was about $400 per person (without airfare of course). With airfare and souveniers, I still spent under $1000! A pretty cheap vacation considering we ate really fancy food and went to so many locations.

Becky, your pics are beautiful! I went on a cruise to Bermuda for my honeymoon, and my husband and I are thinking we might want to do it again in a couple of years. I'm glad that you had fun! You're making me want to leave for my June beach vacation NOW lol! :)

Becky, I'm so glad you had a great time! I knew you would. I am in love with cruising (luckily so is DF, we're going on a 7 day cruise for our honeymoon) and would go several times a year if "the real world" I live in allowed it, haha. Royal Caribbean is the best, IMO, and Majesty is a great ship. Now I'm all cruise-happy and want to go again right NOW. :)
