I have been feeling really stupid lately. Maybe because I want things to work out that can't.. Most of you have read my posts on the "guy" aka one of my students dad that I had being seeing. Well everything seems to have slowed down a lot. He really doesn't call me he emails every know and then but barely. He did email me to go out before he left on his vacation to Orlando. But I recieved that email on Saturday. He leaves this Saturday and I haven't heard from him. Why can I just be smart about this and just let it go. I feel like I am on hold!! I hate it!! The worst part is that I feel I am letting it happen!I have to move on. I can't wait for him to contact me I just cant. At the moment I have had approaches from other guys. So I am just thinking I should go for it and meet new people. I just can't sit around waiting for that email or call. To be fair to myself like I mentioned before I see other guys that are interested in me. That do take the time to call and share time with me. I am not getting or rushing into anything with anyone at the moment. But I think I should give myself a chance and let this go. Why on earth am I sitting around waiting for a call actually an email !!!!!!!!!!!!! arghh I feel so dumb sometimes.

Hey sweetie, even if you are 'seeing' the guy you're not exclusive
so don't act like it!
Get out there date, hang out with friends, enjoy yourself...
who knows who you could meet next.
:D
You are not dumb. Just human. :)
I agree to date others. I think it helps the letting go sometimes when you remind yourself that if it's meant to be it will happen. In the meantime don't let this guy hold you back from living your life and enjoying yourself. Ball is in his court and quite frankly, if he's that slow to return the ball each time then maybe he's not a good partner to play with.
I can tell you from personal experience that at one point in my single life, I just let go and stayed open and thought, "well whatever happens will happen and if not, I'm not going to worry about it." Next thing I knew I met my future husband.
So go ahead and go on dates, focus on school/career and live your life. If it's meant to be, it'll work out. If not, there are better things in your horizon.

yes you guys are correct. Mainly right now I am really trying to focus on my career. Passing my comprehensives will open a lot of doors for me (job wise). I want to start saving up to buy my own place. I really wanted this work but I do have to let it go. I know that what is meant to be will be.
