Does anyone here take hyaluronic supplements AND use hyaluronic skin cream?
If so, have they made a positive impact on your skin at all?
I took HA for my joints years ago, but wasn't really paying attention to its effect on my skin.
Anyone?

I don't take it as a supplement, but I do make sure my leave-on skin care products contain it. It's useless in cleanser because it's washed off. It's an excellent water-binding agent, and helps keep the skin cells plump with water. It won't get rid of wrinkles or do anything stupendous, but it does support the structure and function of skin. It's good stuff!

So far, so good!
Yesterday I bought a bottle of Hydraplenish, by Nature's Way (a supplement). I took two of the Hydraplenish capsules with glucosamine, chondroitin and some digestive enzymes, all with a meal.
Then I used J/A/S/O/N Ester-C moisturizer, which contains hyaluronic acid.
I kid you not - my skin had already plumped up by morning! :D

I have a hyaluronic acid serum that I have been using for the past few months. I do think that I see a difference in my skin. I use it around my mouth and my forehead and the lines seem to be less noticable. So far I'm happy with my discovery! :p

I don't take a supplement, but I have had tried a couple of products with hyaluronic acid in them - Skinceuticals Hydrating B5 Gel and one of the Clarins Hydra Quench moisturizers. I finished my bottle of the Skinceuticals serum, but I did not notice much in the way of benefit in the long-term. I had the bottle for several months, too.
However, when I used the Clarins moisturizer, my skin seemed to retain moisture longer. I only had a sample of it, but it was a large enough sample to give it a fair try. I don't know if that was due to the HA, other ingredients in the product, or both. I'm using another moisturizer right now that I like, but I think once I finish it I will not repurchase and instead go with the Clarins cream.

PBI-- Is the hyaluronic acid an anti-aging ingredient? What exactly does for your skin? :) I've been wanting to try the eye cream from Eucerin's new line called 'Hyaluron Filler'.

I use a product that I can't rave enough about, and w/o running upstairs to look at the ingredients, I'm 99% sure that it contains hyaluronic acid.
I actually wrote a long review on it at MUA -- here's the link (mine's the very first review):

I use this Japanese brand of hyaluronic acid serum, but I don't really feel any difference. I think hyaluronic acid is supposed to keep you hydrated and moisturized.
