Hehe just a place for you all to share your little secrets and guilty pleasures.
:D

I'll go first:
My dirty little secret? When I'm alone feeling sick and down I watch Jennifer Lopez movies... like Monster in Law or Maid in Manhattan.

When I watch the movie Rudy, I cry...I mean BAWL uncontrollably to the point where I really can't have anyone around me to see me that way. It's about the last 35 mins of the movie, so it's a long time. I've seen the movie a bazillion times (own my own copy) and it happens every single time.

When I am exhausted or depressed, I curl up under a blanket with a stack of beauty / fashion magazines. Allure, Glamour, In Style, Lucky - all are fair game. And I save them. I pack them away in boxes, and pull them out again a year or two later. I have stacks of boxes!

Another one for me...more of a confession:

Once in a blue moon, when DD is with her father for the weekend and I'm missing her, I'll put in her Shrek DVD for background noise while cleaning or whatnot. Makes me feel like she's somewhere in the house.

I love mary-kate and ashley movies...and combined with pj's, 2 liters of diet coke, and a bag of salt and vinegar chips makes a perfect afternoon ;)

The entire Bring it On series or the Friday the 13th or Halloween series. With the last two I don't go for the entire series.

Episodes of Rock of Love

And uh, putting makeup on my Chihuahua

Not really a secret but if I have no obligations I sleep the entire day. I will sleep for 15 hours if I can. Sometimes my dreams are better than real life. I also love children but I hate the idea of having one. Whenever I'm at work and I see child behaving atrociously I feel as if my uterus is shriveling up.:p
I have conversations in my head constantly. That's why it takes me 2+ hours to get to bed.
I also really wish I knew how to sew or had seam stressing skills. I'd learn but I'm far too lazy.
I'll be 22 next month and I still don't have my drivers license. I know how to drive but I'm terrified to be alone in the car.

My ultimate afternoon would involve lots of wine, and hanging out with my Mum!
(a far cry from how we were when we'd have fist fights let me tell you)...

I used to ask my husband to rub my head (stroke my hair), it's so soothing that I'd fall asleep within minutes. But now that we have Noelle, can't really do that anymore :(:p

Yeah, she's one of my only willing models. Plus the Peekanese loves it when I do it.

OMG Sam that is hysterical!

I hate when people are outwardly mushy with their partner, but when I'm alone with my boyfriend we're nauseating. ;)

I don't have kittehs at the apartment right now - so I just talk to myself. haha.

If I have no work on a Sunday{which is rare, poo} I like to watch the Lifetime movie marathons. *lol* They're so addicting and make me realize my life isn't really that bad. I mean afterall, my mom isn't pregnant with my step-sister's boyfriend's child and addicted to crystal meth, ha.

Also, shame on me, I like popping pimples. Bad, I know.

Oh gosh. I don't really consider these secrets, per se. I just don't share them a lot. haha.

When I get really stressed, I like to go on long car rides on the interstate and blast hip hop music so loud my car vibrates. Like Jay-Z says, "Bass blarin out of my system, that's how I detox" :D

I did really well on the ACT in high school, and when I feel threatened, and have had one too many cocktails, I ask others what they got to make myself feel better

I purchased a sparkly pink hula hoop from CVS last week and I have been practicing in my apartment when my roommate is gone.

Oh Ally I love that!! That is totally something I'd do.

Probably my biggest secret is that I'm 24 years old and should probably still be at the point in my life when I'm going out with friends and having fun....but instead I am married and living in a sleepy little town with mostly older people. My husband and I are home together alone almost every night....and I absolutely love it!! I was never big on going out/partying, and my DH and I have so much fun together that my favorite thing is just to be with him. :)

Sometimes I'll put my wedding ring on and wear it around the house.

I'm divorced.
I'm NOT longing for the man, marriage, or relationship.
I don't even like the ring that much.

Sometimes it just feels good to wear a big honkin' $$diamond$$ around for a while.:D

LOL at the cute little doggie with make up on! How funny is that! I used to have a miniature poodle that LOOOOVED to be dressed up!

If I had millions...like if I won the lotto...I'm run away and noone would ever find me! HA!

I've realized that if I were to make a pie chart of what categories my clothes buying budget is divided into, the largest wedge would be for "loungewear". Probably because, like Stacey said, I just really prefer being comfy at home watching tv, doing some crafty thing at home with the cats or DF. My sister called me this weekend and wanted me to go downtown with her and the girls, but it was 10:30 (might as well be 4am in my world, lol) and I'd just taken a bath. But gosh, do I need another (seriously cute and soft) pair of capri cut sweats? lol

I just realized that I have another little dirty secret! Whenever I see candy on special in the candy aisle at the supermarket, I sometimes do a little "Happy Dance" :D

Hmmm dirty little secrets...

I sometimes paint my boyfriends toenails while he is sleeping :D and they're not discreet colors either

I am a complete spice girls nut and I LOVE Victoria Beckham...yes I was that 22 year old at their concert jumping around like a madwoman singing along to wannabe.

When I was in junior high...my friends and I would sometimes practice "stripper moves" on the tether ball poles. :p

I hate it, too. I hated it before I was married and I hate it even more now that I have a big honkin' diamond on my finger and idiot men ignore it.

I was going into the post office yesterday, minding my own business, and this creepy old man coming in behind me said "every time I eat fruit for breakfast, I see angels". WTF?

People are so weird and random! That guy sounds a bit nutty!

I hate cat calls too! I used to get them a lot when I was walking in the Wal-Mart parking lot in like sweats! Whenever it happens, I get really uncomfortable, even though in a strange way it is kind of flattering...

I can totally relate to this! When I was engaged and working at Walgreens, I'd have guys hit on me and when I'd tell them I was engaged they'd say "so what?" like it wasn't anything important. It pissed me off, actually. :p

And now that I'm married, even with the big honkin' diamond on my finger guys still don't care. I also always get the "you look so young to be married" comment and that bothers me for some reason. I'm 27, not a child (but I guess I don't look 27 to others, although I think I do).

I have a sick obsession with the Tudor era. I love to read/learn about it, and I've done a ton of personal research. I think people would be a little freaked if they knew how excited I get about this stuff. I was watching a show with my best friend about Hever Castle, and I got all excited telling her it was the familial home of Anne Boleyn. She was like, "Are you speaking English?" *sigh*

Me too, Erica. I love that era and anything Renaissance related. I love the idea of courtly love and castles. I usually go online late at night and search medieval costumes. Then I just sit for hours and wish I lived back in that time.:D

I just thought of another one...

We have one of those Japanese rice cookers that play "ABC" when you start the timer and a happy tune when the rice is done. Sometimes I find myself humming the happy tune at random times. lol. I would even hum the ABC song along with the cooker when I set the timer. :)
