I got off early tonight, so I stopped on the way home to see if they had it in yet and they finally did...YAY! :D Anyway, I got:

*Starlet Kiss, Bonus Beat & Sock Hop l/g
*Rollickin' Paint Pot (from Fafi)
*Sweetness, Joyous, and True Romantic Beauty Powder Blushes

I thought I'd want a lot more, but luckily I didn't want that much once I saw it. I was planning on getting Hollywood Nights and Style Minx, but they reminded me of things I already have, and I don't wear hot pink lipstick/gloss enough to warrant having several of the same shade. I wanted the Heatherette Trio #1, but the only reason I wanted it was for the green, and it's identical to Meadowland, so I skipped it. And I thought I'd get Shy Beauty BPB, but for some odd reason it didn't show up on me, and I'm pretty pale. Not sure what's up with that, but it saved me $17.50. :p

Overall, I'm really happy with what I got...I can't wait to try it all out tomorrow! :)

You'll have to tell me how you like True Romantic. I'm still not decided on whether or not I'm going to pick it up. I want to because these blushes are amazing, but I'm not so sure on the color. I'm actually thinking about picking up a couple of backups of Sweetness. I wish these weren't LE!

True Romantic is beautiful but I already bought 2 BPB that I don't think I should go for a 3rd or 4th one :p;)

I know what you mean about Sweetness! I haven't worn it yet, but it's gorgeous...I can already tell I'm gonna love it. And I know they make LE things permanent if they're popular enough (like the Slimshines most recently, and other things in the past), so maybe that'll happen with these!

I got Shy Beauty and Eversun, love them both!! Eversun is perfect for summer time, it gives me a beautiful warm glow. :) These MAC BPB are awesome.

I thought Eversun was pretty, but it just wasn't shimmery enough for me. :p

And I agree that they're awesome...I'm wearing Joyous today, and I LOVE it! :)

LOL, I've thought about backups of Joyous and Sweetness (wearing it today, and I love it too!), but 1) I've never used up a blush and 2) you need so little of these because they're so pigmented, so I'm not sure if it's really necessary. I'm tempted, though! :p

I'm gonna email MAC and let them know how much I love them...maybe if they get enough positive feedback, they'll think about making them permanent in the future. :)

It's pretty sheer, IMO--the color of my lips definitely shows through, but that might just be because they're pigmented. It just gives a slight coral peach tint on me, but it might show up brighter on you if your lips are less pigmented. Anyway, I like it...very pretty for spring/summer. :)

Haha, I know what you mean! I'm still thinking about a backup of Joyous and Sweetness, even though I don't wear coral as often as pink. And I agree about Dollymix...I like it, but I love the fact that Sweetness is more of a true pink and doesn't have the red tones that Dollymix does.

Erica, I've tried True Romantic and while it's quite pretty (prettier than it looks in it's compact since in the compact it looks almost dirty) it's...I guess forgettable? I had to put it on again to remember what it looked like:p Though, in all fairness I went on some wild blush buying rampage this month (uh, 24 I think) it's really that it's not that special a color when compared to say Sweetness, Serenely and Joyous (those come to mind since they're SO pigmented)

Katie, on me I don't think the BPB's are quite as nice as say Nars but I do like using them on top of some Nars shades (like Sweetness BPB over Desire or Mata Hari) to add glowiness. You should definitely check them out at least:)

That's funny because I actually think the BPBs are better than my NARS ones. I find them way more pigmented, as least over the 2 NARS I own (Orgasm and Torrid), and also I think they're softer/silkier. Just MHO. :)

They are soft and silky but on me the Nars last longer. Of course I haven't tried Torrid yet (bought it but haven't tried it lol) and Orgasm (which I don't find as pigmented as their bright pink colors) isn't one I use too often (I prefer pinks for the most part), I find that the BPB's need to be reapplied if they're all I'm using which I don't particularly care for (I tend to only carry my lip products for the day and pressed powder) Though I'd probably like the BPB's better with a real blush brush (I use a skunk brush to apply) I bought them all and really haven't gotten much use out of them:(

You might like the BPB better with a real blush brush. I apply mine with the 168 and blend out with the 187 on the brighter colors like Sweetness and Joyous. The color lasts all day on me.

So, I tried True Romantic out today. It looks plummy on me (rather than the light, blue-based pink I thought it was), and I'm happy to have it since I don't have a ton of plum shades, but it's not a must have, IMO.

Can you compare it to anything else? Do you by any chance have Plum Foolery as well? I don't have any plum shades (as I don't find Plum Foolery to be that plum), so I'm still trying to figure this out.

I do have Plum Foolery, and I don't really consider it plum, either. I'm not sure what's up with the name, honestly.

The only thing I can really think to compare this to is Afterdusk...I'm thinking you have that one? It's weird because I wouldn't really consider Afterdusk plum, but I guess maybe the gold shimmer makes it look warmer? True Romantic is more pigmented, but if you imagine the gold shimmer gone, I think the base shades are quite similar. At the bottom of this (http://specktra.net/f217/mac-beauty-powder-blushes-mar-08-a-89757/#post1030127) post is a pic comparing the two.
