Anyone try these?

My skin has been looking dull lately and is getting dry and flaky, with forehead worry lines getting noticible. Maybe it's the dry air or me being sick recently or (gasp!) maybe I'm just getting older. lol.

I caved at CVS today and bought the Lumene Radiant C Beauty Drops and the Vitamin C+ Energy Cocktail.

The beauty drops are the ones in the little capsules and the cocktail is in this bottle with two colored liquids that you are supposed to shake up to mix before applying (seems a little gimicky but the bottle is pretty).

Has anyone used these products? What are your thoughts/experiences? I've only tried the cocktail so far and maybe I'm imagining things but my skin feels a little firmer already. :)

I am holding off trying the capsules so that just in case I break out, I would know which one did it.

Anyway, just curious to see if anyone tried these and if so, what your experiences were.

Thanks!

Hmmm...I guess Lumene is not very popular. Oh well.

It's day three of using the Energy Cocktail Intensive Care stuff (I guess you can call it a serum) and so far so good. My face feels super soft and looks a lot better. Kind of glowy. My forehead wrinkles seem less noticible too. It felt a little tingly going on when I first started, but so far no irritation or breakouts.

I wear it under my mositurizer with SPF during the day. So far at night I've been using it alone. It's moisturizing enough for me on it's own, but I like using SPF during the day.

Have you read the reviews at Makeup Alley? They are almost 100% positive about these products, so I bought them yesterday. Used the Beauty Drops last night, and I was floored. It made my skin look and feel more like nice, healthy, young skin is supposed to. Almost like a child's skin. Not like the uneven, pores-like-potholes, coarse textured mess it usually is. Note I didn't say it's EXACTLY like a child's skin, but it is much closer than it has been with anything else I've tried.

I haven't tried the orange/red serum stuff yet, and I've got to play with the products and figure out where to work them into my skin care routine. But I'll keep at it and let you all know how it goes.

That sounds promising, Dar. Thanks for replying to my post. :)

I have read the MUA reviews but it's hard to tell if people continued with the products long-term or of they gave up after a while. I loved the Lumene Radiant C Energy moisturizer (one in the jar) that I got last year but it seemed to lose it's effectiveness over time. Maybe the vitamins and good stuff degraded over time?? So I was curious to see if anyone used these two products on a regular basis.

Anyway, so far no breakouts for me with the energy cocktail. And I'm liking my skin a lot. My cheeks feels like baby skin! I find myself touching my face occasionally. lol.

I'll probably wait another week or so to start the capsules. Although after reading your post I was really tempted to start right away!
