My husband and I FINALLY were able to find a Wii, and it arrived yesterday so we stayed up til past midnight last night playing.

Anyway, so far we only have the Wii Play and Wii Sports games, so I am looking for recs for great games if you guys have any! :D

If you like mini games, Warrio Smooth Moves is really fun! It's a bunch of 2 second games and you progress through a map. It's cute.

I'll ask my girlie-girl, she and her man have a Wii too!

I got a Wii for my fiance for xmas. I got him those generic games. He liked paper mario and mario galaxy. He's going to get mario cart (which i've actually loved on Nintendo 64) so i'm excited to play it! And there's also smash brothers, which i'm sure you can get hooked on quickly (like i have :D)

My boyfriend just got Big Brain Academy, which he enjoys a lot. There's quite a variety of mini games to play on there.

That one is really fun. I also like Mario Galaxy and Monkeyball Banana Blitz. I do still love tennis on the Wii Sports and everyone else in family seems addicted to bowling.

We don't have one but I've played it at friends' house. I like the tennis game and there was a game we played recently. I don't know the name of it, but it features this crazy looking bunny. It's a game where he's in some arena and has to go through different tasks. It's pretty silly, but fun and we all got a kick out of it. Tasks include dancing, cow throwing, capturing pigs and putting them back in the pen, going through a maze without touching the wall and having creatures laugh at you (easier said than done!). Anyway it was a lot of fun and we all laughed a lot.

I love Cooking Mama! You mimick the act of chopping veggies, cracking eggs, frying, stirring, etc. I get so into. It's the kind of game you wouldn't expect to be fun but it definitely is. Some of the "recipes" you have to cook are very unusual like pasta with squid ink, but those are the most fun to make. I like Guitar Hero for the Wii, also. That game is so addictive. I also like the games with Mario cause he's a classic. Mario Galaxy is a good one. The Wii isn't mine, it's my sister's, but I still like it!

Great to know!! That game is at the top of my list. When I saw it at Best Buy and wanted it, DH made fun of me, but once he started reading about it online he got really excited for it. :D

Yes, Warrio Smooth Moves is lots of fun too, I tried it once and it's pretty addicting.

My boyfriend and I have had a Wii for a long time now and it's still so much fun! We have a lot of games but the ones I particulary like are:

Mario Strikers Charged: It's this great soccer game that is fun to play in groups but it will get noisy with everyone yelling!

Wario Smooth Moves: This is a lot of fun but the game goes VERY quickly so in my books...it was not worth it's price tag.

Cooking Mama: This is very different and a LOT of fun on the Wii but it's even better on Nintendo DS if you have one of those.

Mario Party 8: Another really fun group game but also fun to play by yourself...lots and lots of great mini games.

I love Rayman. When I get my Wii, I'm totally getting both of those.

I almost bought Cooking Mama for my DS the other day and I didn't. Now, after reading everyone's posts, I want to get it!

I got a Wii in August, and I loveee Super Mario Galaxy and Wii Carnival. They're so fun!

I don't want to spoil the parade, but I asked/read reviews about Cookin' Mama and it got awful reviews. I wanted it so bad, but not for $60! People said that it wasn't challenging.

Brain Academy is fun. MarioKart is out this spring! Wheeee! Always fun.

Cooking Mama - I ADORE this game!! FYI Becky, we found it at Best Buy for only $30, so maybe now is a better time to get it!

Carnival Games - love this one too!

HBO Boxing - this one's more for DH than me! (He also got a RAW vs. Smackdown wrestling game, we really aren't fans of wrestling but I have to say, the game is fun!)

I can't remember the name, but we got a Winter Sports game that is AWESOME. It has all of the sports from the Winter Olympics - bobsleigh, luge, speed skating, alpine skiing, ski jumping, figure skating - and it's so much fun. :)
