I got this a week ago, during the CVS Beauty Event (see post below) for me and my sister. I just tried it out today, and it is fantastic!! I've been wearing my shadow pretty much all day (couple of hours) now. My shadow is just starting to barely crease (and I mean barely!!), and my super oily lids have been matte and shine free all day!! :D

Mind you, I have oily skin and oily eyelids. My lids are always shiny unless I use blot powder, and even that only holds off the shine for about an hour. The only other shadow base I've used is UDPP, which still left my shadows creasing after a while, and my lids still show up shiny. I'm definitely thinking of returning it now, after trying the Lumene one.

I can't rave enough about the Lumene base!! And only after the very first try. Definitely try it out!! I got mine for about $5, cause they were BOGO 1/2 off, and I had extra bucks. The regular price is $10, and I'm sure CVS will have them on sale most of the time. And unlike the UDPP, it's in a squeeze tube, and you get 0.34oz of product.

Ok, I'm done raving, lol. :D

I've been looking for something to blow my Extra Care Card bucks on, and this might be just the thing! It always gets such rave reviews, and I think about how many bases I already have ... and I STILL want to try this LOL ;).

So glad to hear that you're loving it!

Hmmmm, I may have to try this out! I'm coming up on 2 years of using the same UDPP tube though. But I've had to remove the stopper & then eventually cut the tube in half & scrape out the remaining in a 5g jar. The UDPP is just too much trouble (although it works wonderfully for my oily eyelids!)

Thank you so much for this post!! I will be running out of my old e/s base (Revlon, discontinued) sooner rather than later and I've been looking at EVERYTHING hoping I'll pick the right one when I have to get something new. I was excited to see Lumene had a tube one (I don't like the ones in pots or w/ wands) and I'm even more excited to hear it works so well!! Thanks again! :D

I used this a couple of years ago, and while it worked fine, I still have other bases I prefer (like UD PP or MAC Paint Pots). Glad you like it though!
