My absolute all time favorite, the one I've gone through-to-the pan most often, is Velour. Of course, its discontinued. but I still have 2 in my stash.

Next up is Omega and Quarry.

Then, Cork, Folie, and Malt and Brun.

I love pairing Shroom and Sumptuous Olive with Romp or Woodwinked. Star Violet is also beautiful with Woodwinked.

MAC has soooo many gorgeous colors, it's hard to pick out a favorite! Each post reminds me of one I love and forgot about. I need to go through my huge wooden box of eyeshadows more often, and use ones that got lost in the sauce.

I forgot to add, Nocturnelle is a gorgeous purple! I especially love with with Pink Freeze and Swish.

As for Nocturnelle and Mood Ring, I like them both. MAC calls Nocturnelle a "pinked-up purple chrome", and I find that description pretty accurate, minus the chrome part. It's a frost, but I don't find it overly shimmery. It makes a great outer "V" shade (which is what I mainly use it for), and it looks awesome with other purples and pinks (like the ones Heather mentioned). Mood Ring is similar to Shimmermoss, but it's a lot more green. That's how I justified having both. It's lighter too. HTHS!

Nocturnelle is pretty w/ Naked Lunch, Creme de Violet - it's a great crease/accent/liner shade.

My all time favourite is Greensmoke, a shimmery greyish-olive that's perfect for smokey eyes. It's in the lustre formula so if you don't like that, you may want to try Fiction, which is the same colour without the sparkles of the lustre eyeshadows.

December- Yeah the Nocturnelle is amazing - it goes well w/ all eye colors too!

Whoops! Forgot about Shag, Smut, and Grain. I don't even know if MAC makes these anymore - I've had them for so long, buried in the huge wooden box I have.

They do still make Grain and Smut. I have them both, and they're good neutrals. I used to love Smut for a smokey eye.
