Didnt know where to post this, but I figured since it semi-has to do with skin I'd try here. Its basically just a little foot file shaped like an egg. You can get it at Walgreens for $10.
I bought one last night, and I love it. Anyone with rough feet should definitely give it a try. I wear sandals most of the time, and that combined with Texas weather and lots of walking = very rough feet. I'd tried everything, all kinds of creams and scrubs and many other foot files and this is the only thing that has worked.

I've been wanting to try this, but kind of scared to! I appreciate your post on it, and I think I might have to go get it :)

Its not really painful at all, just be careful and make sure to do it while your feet are clean and dry (yes dry, not wet like w/ other foot files).

I've really wanted to get this for my dry heels since I saw the commercials for it but I was sure it wouldn't really work. I may have to try it now:)

I think I"ll have to get this! We have to wear flip-flops in the communal showers, and my feet get so dry because of it.

I might have to get one! My mom bought one for my dad, and while I guess I could try his out, that grosses me out, LOL. My feet are so dry though, so this sounds like something I need.

Hmm, I might have to check it out. I'm currently using Sally Hansen's Foot Paddle, which works good. But the Ped Egg works on dry feet, which is much better than trying to balance yourself in the shower, lol.

Yeah I've been meaning to pick one of these up. They look like they would work really good. I'm a girly girl that likes to have nice feet and wear cute shoes, but on the contrary I have a tomboy side that like to walk around without shoes and my feet get really rough. So this sounds like the perfect solution to my rough feet problem:D

My PedEgg is my favorite impulse purchase ever, lol. I have a (overpriced) Microplane foot file, but this $10 Ped Egg is so much better and so much easier to hold/use. DF got ahold of it (I know, eww, probably very unhygenic to share) and it really made his nasty man-feet smooth!

I actually bought one the other day too, I had to take my dog to the vet for a recheck (she has had an eye problem since we got her, thankfully they said she's doing great so I bought her a cute girly dress:p ) anyway, there's a Walgreens in the center with our vet (I hate that I don't have a Walgreens really close anymore, it's only a couple miles away but I rarely go there) so I went in there (not even remembering this post) and saw the display and decided to get one and a pack of refill blades (Katie, maybe you and your DF can use separate blades? I've decided to use one for my elbows and one for my feet) and wow, I only used it once but the difference is totally amazing. Definitely worth it.

I picked up one of these too! While my feet aren't baby butt smooth yet, I think if I keep using it, they will be. It's SUCH a difference.

Interesting. I saw this on infomercial the other day and at Walgreens, it just seems painful, lol. But since you guys say it doesn't and have good results, maybe I'll pick one up too. My feet are so dry and yucky, haven't had a good pedicure forever.

I really want one too...I've just been using a foot file but its messy and you really have to put in lots of effort to get it to work.
I bought a Ped Egg last week & used it once for about 10 minutes on both feet. I guess I don't have as much rough skin as I thought..... there were barely any shavings in the egg!

I've gotta get this lol ... it's been raved about to no end on MUA, and now here? I have GOT to have one!

I want to try this, but my mom had a bad experience with it so I am terrifed! lol. I don't know if she used it too roughly or what, but she said her feet were irritated for days after using it. She has really sensitive skin, so that could be why. I still might pick it up because it does sound great! :)

I have no interest b/c honestly...I have a callus shaver thing and it is the most amazing invention ever.

I went to CVS to hunt one of these down the other night. The cashier had no idea what I was talking about so I tried to describe is as a "foot shaver" and finally he figured it out and led me to the "As Seen on TV section". He seemed just as excited about the PedEgg as I was, and said he wanted to try one eventually, lol!
Anyway it does work and I'm glad I bought it...the flat one I've been using is messy and I like the design of the egg better. My feet aren't too bad yet but I'm sure later in the summer it will be used more!

Ha, DF actually got me a pack of refill blades after he saw how disgusted I was that he used my Egg. He still doesn't get why it's gross, lol, even after I compared it to sharing a razor or a toothbrush...but no biggie, now we can both file our feet, how cute ;)
And I'm glad your dog is doing well! We need pics of the new dress :)

I just bought this yesterday and tried it out last night. When I got into bed my boyfriend said, "Wow, your feet are softer!"

LOL that's funny, Becky!
I need to use mine again. I've only use it the one time, but my feet are still a lot softer than they were.

I think my boyfriend secretly likes the PedEgg too even though he teases me about it... but just threaten to sprinkle the foot shavings on his pasta and he shuts up. :D

LOL Ally-my boyfriend gets so grossed out about the shavings. He kept peering into it and going "Ugh!"

haha, my husband was amazed by the shavings, lol. It's kinda gross and odd all at the same time.

It's so funny you guys are talking about your guys getting grossed out by the shavings! My DH and I saw a commercial for this last night and were both totally disgusted by it LOL.

LOL, I'm glad I remembered to come back to this thread, your dog is so cute Sam! :)
The shavings are DF's favorite part of the PedEgg. He was seriously proud of the pile he accumulated, lol.
