View Full Version : Where can I find those soy candles that double as foot & leg massage wax?

I had my first pedicure last October, and the woman used this amazing wax on my feet and lower legs. It seriously reminded me of buttery pore spackle, because me skin was uber smooth for 2 days afterwards, even after showering! She dipped her hand into this candle tin, scooped out some wax and massaged it in. The only way I knew it was a candle was the wick poking up through the center. It was so strange, but I want one! I have yet to find one. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, where does one purchase this amazing candle?

I don't know if this is exactly the same thing, but CVS has some lotion candles that they've recently bought out. Here is a link with more information:

Great! That seems like it's the same type of thing. Now that CVS has it, I'll bet more are on the way all over the place. I sure hope so. I'll pick one up and review it. Thanks, Jennifer!

No problem :) . I'd be interested in hearing a review if you try them.

An acquaintance on a candle making forum I visit makes them, but her web site isn't up and running yet. But she said I could tell you that she has them in an 8 oz tin for $9.99. They're made of soy, coconut, grapeseed oil, and vitamin E. If that's interesting to you, I can give you her email address and you can contact her about scents. Or I'll ask for you if you'd rather.

Someone on that candle board replied that she has an etsy store where she sells them:

She said you could also email her at austtenn@yahoo.com
I'm still getting info from the first person I mentioned.

Awesome! Thank you so much! I told my BF I was looking for this, and he was happy because he actually remembers how smooth they made my feet and legs. Have you tried any of them?

Here's the email address of the first lady I mentioned:
info@simplysoycandles.com
She said she has about 60 scents, so email her and she will probably send you a list. If she ends up being less expensive than the other link I posted, it might be worth it.

I've never heard of a candle used in pedicures. I have had my hands and feet dipped in paraffin wax which is also really pampering! That you can find at any beauty store. But as far as a candle, never heard of it! If you find out what it is I'd love to know as well.

Gina: if you read all the replies above, you will see that both I and Darlene posted options for these candles.
