I'm almost 20 and have had a HG everything for ages. The one thing I've never had as a HG is lipcolor. Now I'm not so much a fan of lipgloss, but I love lipstick. I don't usually wear anything on my lips but I would love to start trying to!

I'm in love with Kim Kardashian's nude lip (she uses MAC Angel l/s and NARS Turkish Delight) but I don't know if that would work well with my skintone.

ITA with you in that KK's nude lip shade wouldn't be as flattering on your coloring.

I really looked at your coloring for awhile, and I would recommend you checking out Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Perfect Plumping l/s in either Perfect Bare or Perfect Blush. I have and adore both (more so the Bare one)!

And don't let the name scare you -- EA has a bad rep for being an old lady brand. It's so overlooked and underrated. This lipstick has no scent, goes on feeling like silk, and lasts a good long while.

I just started getting into lipstick too! I used to love lipgloss butI hate how my hair sticks in it and my boyfriend isn't a fan of gloss either. I would recommend going to a MAC counter and telling them exactly what you're looking for-a nude shade, a fun shade, a dramatic shade, etc.

My favorite goes-with-anything lipstick is MAC Viva Glam V. It's the perfect your-lips-but-better color! Proceeds go to an AIDS fund too which is nice.

I highly 2nd the rec for MAC Viva Glam V. It's the only lipstick I've used up - twice. ;)
