Which one do you think would work best for my eyes? I'm probably going to buy in the US (cheaper) so I won't really have the luxury for exchanging it if it doesn't work out?

I can't say which one would work best but I have the Shiseido one and I love it.
Nice to see you back!

I have the Shu and I don't like it. It doesn't work to well for me. It's no better then my much cheaper Revlon eyelash curler and in fact I think the Revlon works better! I heard so many raves about it so I bought one and I don't get what the fuss is about:confused:

I don't know about the Shu Uemere since I've never tried it but I have the Shiseido and have been using it for almost a decade. I really like it and it's definitely better than the Revlon for me and my Asian eyes. Btw, it's nice to see your face. Very pretty. :)

Me too! I've tried Shu Uemura long ago and it didn't do anything for me, but the cheapo Revlon one does wonder for me. Since then, I've been using Revlon one. I'd like to try Shiseido one tho.

Like others, I haven't tried the Shu, but I've been using my Shiseido one for years, and I love it. The curl for my asian lashes holds way better than from cheaper drugstore ones like Revlon. Plus, it's convenient that Shiseido counters are everywhere so it's easy to buy the refill pads.

I've had the Shu & wasn't too impressed - not worth the $$ IMO. May have to give the Shiseido one a try though! My eyes are big/wide & my lashes are stubborn - the Revlon ones are too "round" for me & don't give a lasting curl IME.

My eyes are actually small, but I find the Revlon too big and also too round. I may have to try the Shiseido one as well.

I've been using the Shu Uemura one for a long time now and really love it. I've tried the Revlon one and, like many have mentioned, it's too round. The Shu one grabs all my lashes at the same time and curls them nicely. :)

I had the Shu curler and I used it until I ran out of replacement pads. I am currently using the Shiseido curler. Both are good and give a long lasting curl. It depends what kind of look you are going for. I found the Shu gave me a more natural and subtle curl while the Shiseido gives me a dolly lash look (major curl). HTH

Wow I'm surprised some people remember me here!
I'll try the Shiseido one, it's more easily accessible anyway. Thanks so much!

After reading this thread, I considered upgrading my Revlon curler to a Shiseido curler.

I looked on Ebay and saw that they're labelled as "213" and "215." What's the difference? The listings seem a little sketchy. Should I bite the bullet and buy from Sephora instead?

I have never tried either one, how does it compare to the pink travel size one from Japonesque?
