Currently my hair is Chesnut Brown. I'm thinking of getting some highlights for the summer as I'm bored;) I've had Caramel highlights before so I don't want that again and I don't want anything that is really blonde and will look like skunk streaks in my hair lol As I said my hair is Chesnut Brown, I have very fair skin and blue green eyes. Can someone rec a good shade of highlight for me? I'd really like some opinions of a good shade of blonde or even brown that will look good with my current hair color and my features. Thanks for any opinions I appreciate it!:)

I have like medium brown hair, I guess you could call it Chesnut, and I just got some honey blonde highlights put in and I love them. Not to mention everyone keeps complimenting me on them. They really brighten up my whole look. My hair naturally has a golden tone to it so I asked for honey blonde highlights with a more golden than platinum tone. A good celeb to look at might be Carmen Electra actually. She has brown hair with highlights that aren't overly blonde and look really nice. Maybe also ask your stylist for different colors, like darker highlights near the back of your head and brighter ones near your face. Plus the shade variance looks less obvious as it grows out.

Here is a pic of my hair color. I actually took a picture I had found of this girl in an ad to my hair stylist, it was from a jcpenney ad lol My stylist actually thought this girl was me! I said I wanted my hair to be this color do you think it will look good on me and she was like wait that's not you? lol I thought it was funny. I'm as pale as she is too. Thought I'd post a pic so you'd be able to make recs for me more easily. And thank you Jacinda for your opinion!:)
