I'm thinking of buying one of these for Mother's Day and filling it with family photos. Does anyone have one of these? Is it easy to upload photos, do they work as advertised? Would be greatly interested to hear about your experiences.

I know a lot of people with these, including my mom whom we got one as a gift. I think they're awesome!

Some are pricier than others, and they have more quirks (like being wirelessly connected to your computer for constant photo upload) but all the ones I've seen have worked great.

Uploading usually works one of two ways (or either sometimes). You either use a USB connector cord from your comp to the frame to add photos, or you load photos onto a memory card (like the kind in digital cameras) and stick that in the frame.

In my opinion, they're worth the money, and look nice, and are a great conversation piece. FYI, I think the one in my parents house is a mid-ranged Kodak one. HTHS

My brother and I got my dad one for his last birthday, and he really likes it. I can't remember the brand, but I researched the one we got and it got really good reviews. You can either transfer pictures by USB or a memory card, and it holds MP3s too, so you can put music to your slideshows.

I personally don't have a need for one since I don't really take a lot of pictures, but my dad loves his, and it sounds like it would work nicely for what you're looking for. :)

I saw one of these at someone's house and it looked really nice.

I don't have one but I do have a digital photo keychain that I haven't even taken out of the packaging yet. I won it at my sister's work Christmas party.
I want to get my sister to upload pictures of my nephews on it since she's loves using cameras and taking pictures.

My boyfriend got me one of these for Valentine's Day and I love it! It was very easy uploading the photo's. It's def a good investment!

Thanks for all the input, ladies. I ended up getting the Umbra digisimple brushed nickel frame and my mom loved it, especially the photos I uploaded unto the memory card.

My husband and I just bought my mother-in-law a digital photo keychain for Mother's Day. She hasn't opened it yet, but she's pretty excited to be able to carry pictures of my nephew around so easily.
