I'm not much of a make-up pioneer--I let others (you ladies) try things out and then I wait to see which products are tried-and-true, so I'm sorry if I'm two steps behind in raving about EM. :p

I have FINALLY begun using the Everyday Minerals foundation (in semi-matte). I was skeptical about a powder having buildable coverage, especially concealing powder, so I stuck with CG liquid foundation, MF Panstik as cream concealer and PF Mineral Powder to bannish oilies. I thought touching up only 3 times a day wasn't bad at all.

LOL Boy was I wrong! With EM, I didn't use a finishing dust and still only had to touch up once (after sweating in a hot car). It didn't cake at all.

I ordered three different sample shades and they were all pretty forgiving. The sample sizes last seemingly forever, too.
Multi-tasking has become my new favorite concealer. :D I can't wait to try the finishing dust!

I think I'm going to post another thread sometime soon with pics of my bare face, old routine, and EM routine. For those who haven't joined the mineral bandwagon, maybe my pics will persuade you!

I may be crazy about The Body Shop's All in one face base now,
but I still LOVE my Everyday Minerals.

I loved the different finishes w/ EM, but couldn't find a perfect color match & just got overwhelmed by the whole process :( Minerals in general are wonderful though!

I still use finishing dust over just about any kind of powder or liquid because I find it helps it last longer.

Glad you like it (and I would be interested in seeing some before and after pic too). This may be a silly question, but did you place your order off the old site or can you order from the updated site already?

I'm glad you like EM! I've tried a few of their products (multitasking/finishing dust/foundation), I've come to love their sunkissed fair foundation and it's the best color match I've found thus far. However I'm still in love with my BE and have been switching back and forth since I love them both equally ;) can't wait to see the comparison between pictures!! Now that I've been using minerals (I guess for the past 2...maybe 2.5 years now) I can't even IMAGINE using cream/liquid concealers and foundations!!

Oh, I know! It's only been a week or so, but I have no idea how I got by with liquid foundation all this time! And to think that PF Minerals was my find of the century- until EM whisked my heart away. :D

I believe my order was placed through the new site. The new site is the new default and you have to actively switch back to the old site to use it, right?

I was using PF Mineral Wear before EM, and it just doesn't compare. I switched to EM after my face exploded in clogged pores after using PF for a year and a half. My pores don't clog like that at all with EM, and I've been using it for a couple years now.

Start to Finish is AWESOME. My skin is pretty normal, but in warmer weather my t-zone gets kinda oily, and by the end of my usual 10 or 12 hour day, my makeup has kinda worn off and looks gross. On days I use it though, my foundation still looks perfect when I take it off at night. I just have a sample now, but I definitely plan on getting a full size once the kits are up on the new site.

Glad you tried EM! Their Intensive foundation is my holiest of grails. I only use EM foundation now..... I gave away all my other foundations to mom & sis.

I'm confused - which site do you actually order from now??

As far as I know, it's still the old site, Katie. Once they make the full switch over, I think it'll be the new site.
