I know there were raves for the PF pressed mineral foundation but I can't find any reviews for it here or on MUA. Can users please post their reviews? I looked through the threads but its easier to read a review. And could we boost our reviews here? I dont want to lurk on MUA as I like it here so much better :D

Here (http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=61758/Mineral_Wear_Mineral_Face_Powder/Physicians_Formula/Pressed_Powders) is the link for reviews on MUA.

Personally, I like traditional minerals better. It is more convenient in that it's pressed, but some ingredient in it didn't agree with my skin, plus I could never find a great color match. Everyone is different, though, and this is one of the those products that some people seem to love and others hate, so I really have no advice other than to give it a try and see if it works for you.

I found the color matches to be rather mediocre for my medium olive toned Asian skin. The coverage was way too sheer for my taste also. I know others have really like it but I wasn't one of them. I also prefer traditional minerals as well.

Thanks so much everyone! I looked at the colours today and Zoe, you are right I don't think there is a match for my Asian skin tone. I would love to use traditional minerals right now but something awful is happening with my skin. I use an oily serum, let it soak and then apply my Mineral Boutique with vitamin E and it looks great but still some dry spots. But after work, I see my skin and its like so dry and flakey with patchiness. I think the minerals are soaking up every bit of oil and moisture on my face. I try to keep the humidity up at work and drink water but its not working. I also had an eczema flare up so I am trying to eat more oils.

I am almost comtemplatinig liquid right now. I need moisture on my face but I dont want that chemical stuff either. I just put a AHA mask on my face and hope it takes care of some of the flakiness.

I don't know what else to do. I have some powder foundation and they actually seem to bind to my skin better without the dryness.

I can't recommend Mineral Wear at all. I loved it, went through several compacts, and about a year and half into using it, my face exploded into clogged pores that took months and months to get rid of it.
