I recently was going thru my stash and found that I have many colors that look very similar. I have a collection of neutrals, pinks, browns etc ;) . The funny thing is that when a new MAC make up collection appears I almost buy all of it. Sheesh!!! I am incredible! but anyway LOL I won't stop anyway make up is my addiction. It doesn't matter how many shades of browns,pinks or neutrals I have.

Yea I have lots of similar shades in my stash. Like champagne, cream, and taupe shades. I guess cuz I just love those types of colors so I tend to buy them more.

Like Kat said, I have a lot of similar products because they're my fave shades. Lots of taupe, champagne, peachy and bronze e/s. Lots of deep red and bright pink nail polish.

LOL peachy-pink blushes & bronzey-gold e/s are my thing it appears :p

I actually try to not have too many similar items. I'd say the only items that are fairly similar is my NARS Amour and Orgasm (because they're both peach blushes). I think we all could tell huge differences in my products, but someone who isn't into makeup might think I have more similarities than I do.

My shades are probably pretty similar since I tend to gravitate towards the same ones. Lots of neutrals for the eyes, pink blushes, and pink or nude lipstick and gloss. I try not to buy many lookalikes though, as I don't need more than one of the same shade in my stash since I probably won't ever use up the first one!

I have a few dupes, but I was really trying to broaden my horizons this past year so really I just have a lot of cosmetics over all
hehe.

I think my whole makeup stash is composed of duplicates. Nearly all of my listicks and glosses are in the same color family, and I have dozens of eyeshadows in browns and gray-browns and rose-browns and taupes. Brown eye pencils. Dark brown eyeliners. Yeah, I think everything in my collection is a close match for something else!

Some, but I'm really trying not to buy anymore duplicates. Like Erica said, I probably won't ever use up the first one, so I really don't need more than one of the same thing.

I have some things that are I guess similar but no true dupes, I like playing around with color so I try not to buy too many of the same type of color except for pink blushes but even with those they're all different.

My entire stash is filled with stuff that all looks the same! I have been trying to work my way through it and not buy anything new since it always looks the same! :P

Not really. I think the only similar colors I have is some berry shades of tinted lip balm, gloss and lip stain. I try not to buy anything similar to what I already have as far as eye shadows and blush. I've really tried to be good about impulse buys these days so that helps limit me having too many things that are similar in color.
