So this is my first car! My brother and I have been sharing a Subaru Forester for the past two years, and as we're nearing our senior year in college it just got way too hard to share a car (different jobs, different social lives, and constant bickering about who gets it, gas, etc). Because I've gotten really good grades my parents decided to help me get a nice car. I chose this 2003 Mini Cooper-it had only 40,000 miles on it and is in pristine condition, owned by a retired (and very wealthy) couple who takes great care of their cars. Not a single scratch on the outside, and only minimal wear and tear on the inside door handles and wheel. The color is Pepper White with a limited-edition (now discontinued) red interior. I named it Peppy for short. ;) In the last shot, I'm wearing a "Mini" sweatshirt the couple gave me with the car as a little bonus gift.

Oh what a cute car Becky! You're very lucky. I love the sweatshirt heh. When I got my car, the dealership sent me home with a wealth of BMW junk (sweatshirts, hats, cups etc etc) that I'll never use.

I'm not a 'car person', I've driven a '98 Honda Civic w/ 130k miles on it for 10 years, and I have no plans to get rid of it (trade a paid off car that gets 30 miles to the gallon? no thanks, lol) but I have to admit I think Minis are totally adorable and if/when my car dies, a Mini would be on my list of cars to consider. :)

Kat-Everyone says that it's definitely a "Becky" car! I guess it suits my personality. ;)

Darlene-The Mini Cooper averages 30-something mpg, usually 30/32 mpg for around town and closer to 38/39 on the highway. Since I previously shared an SUV with my brother, this will be a big change!
