I stop by the mall today during my lunch break to see the new MAC collections. I ended up with:

The Solar Bits are gorgeous but definitely very very chunky. But once applied, it's actually quite creamy (if this makes any sense). I went with Black Ore, cuz it seems like the most unique shade from the 4. I also am eyeing Pleasureseeker lipstick, but I really shouldn't be buying more lip stuff, so I'm trying to talk myself out of it, lol.

Then I went over to Sephora to see if the Kat Von D palettes are in stock. Of course, the one I want is out of stock again. So after I went back to work, I ordered it online. I used a code for free shipping, so it's all good. I got:

I can't wait to get my order!! Kat Von D palettes are so beautiful and every e/s is super pigmented and silky.

When I was at the mall, I also asked for a sample of Clarins Instant Light Complexion Perfector. I want to see if I can use this in place of foundation. It's got lots of good reviews at MUA. :)

Great haul, Kat! The Solar Bits seem intriguing, but I think I might pass. I'm intrigued by the Kat Von D. e/s palettes now that I know you like them. Hmmm...

I agree with Erica that while the Solar Bits sound interesting, I'm going to pass as well. The shades don't sound unique. I bet I've already got dupes for the ones I'd be interested in. I'm holding out for the summer collections. Enjoy yours though! You deserve to treat yourself being such a hardworking mommy! :)

Nice haul! :) I agree that they sound cool, but I think I'm gonna pass as well. I don't really like the regular chunky pigments, so I'm thinking I wouldn't like the texture of these, either.

I was tempted for a slight moment on the Solar Bits but wasn't thrilled about the packaging. The look of Black Ore was really pretty. It reminded me of looking up at the sky at night.
