I went to the MAC counter today to check out the new collection. It is a pretty collection but nothing too impressive. I tought I would love the e/s but most of them in my opinion can be duped very easily. On the other hand I ended up loving the lipglass and the lippies all very pretty colors. I also saw the solar field collection and was not impressed at all. The solar bts were very messy and seemed chunky. The MA put some on my hand and well ended up making a big mess. I just imagined that big mess all over my face or one of those big chunks getting into my eyes. So I passed completly on this collection. Here is what I got from Neo-Sci fi and what I think of the other products.

-e/s in femme fi and magnetic fields ( I think these are the most original e/s of them all)

-l/g in: supreme, naked space and pink grape fruit (my fave up to now is pink grapefruit wow what a live brilliant color) I didn't get soft and slow because I already have it :p . Supreme reminds me of oh baby! I tought it would be darker but it just like oh baby. If you have this color you can pass this one. i used up my oh baby already so I got this.

-l/s in: sci fi delity, pleasureseeker (nice peach color), astral ( I am surprised I actually got this. I tought it would be too dark it actually is a nice bronze color), electro (wow baby orange and beautiful it's not tacky or look at me orange it is beautiful and vibrant)

- spaced out blush (this seems like the perfect peach color)

I only tested the products on my hand I haven't worn any of them yet. But I will post more reviews as soon as I play with all this stuff.

I wanted to add if you still have available Naugthy Nauticals get port red l/s OMG it is the perfect red color. I ahve a hard time wearing reds. The just don't suit me very well. But this color OMG just simply amazing! it's red with golden bits. the mixture of the red and golden just looks very pretty. I put it on yesterday and I felt like a star! :D

evening aura: is an orange e/s I have a shade exactly like this! I think it was from a collection last year that came out with many vibran greens, yellows and oranges. I will post later the name of the e/s.

time and space: woodwinked anyone? sheesh same as woodwinked I see no difference at all.

expensive pink: I think I have this color not really sure. It's pretty but ok! it really didn't wow me. I have a similar color to this from BB. I can't remember the name either sorry I promise to post it later.

Sunsonic l/s: this showed up white in my skin. So literally I don't want to wear white l/s so I passed this as well.

Thanks for sharing your haul and your thoughts, Keishla! I'll definitely compare Time & Space to Woodwinked when I go to the counter. I love Woodwinked, but I definitely don't need another shade that's similar. I think I want Femme Fi, Evening Aura, and Magnetic Fields though.

Nice haul, and thanks for your reviews! :) Hopefully I can check this stuff out soon, but I hope I won't want too much. It sounds like there are several dupes in the collection, though, so that's good!

ITA! How many colors can there be? It does get to the point where you recycle colors, but you can always change the finish, tweak it a little bit. A lot of people complain, but really, how many eyeshadows do we need? I like being able to pass sometimes.

I agree. There are only so many colors out there, and if anyone's got the widest selection, it's MAC. Sometimes I don't mind buying a similar color to one in my collection because it's familiar to me and I know I'll like it and get a lot of use out of it. And sometimes it's nice to have the same shade but in different finishes. Which reminds me that I still haven't checked out this collection - definitely on Friday when I get paid again.

I'm really tempted to go back and get Pink Grapefruit. I don't think I've ever seen a gloss like that before. So summery!
The only reason I never got Oh Baby! was because the glitter seemed too chunky, in my opinion. I really love the fine shimmer of Supreme.
